A branch of my family tree is from the Ukraine. At the age of 13, my grandfather left his country and ended up as a refugee in America. Despite harsh conditions, he made a new life in a new country, but never forgot his homeland. Now, almost 100 years later, I have an opportunity to give back to my ancestral homeland.
