March 1, 2016 by Beth Kanter Leave a Comment

In a couple of weeks, one of the sessions I'm facilitating at the Nonprofit Technology Conference in San Jose is called "How To Be A Wizard at Tech Training."   As you can tell from the slide,  we have a Harry Potter theme for the session.  My colleague Cindy Leonard has used her photoshop magic to help each of the speakers transform into a character. Here's the description: Hands down, this is the most interactive session you will attend at 16NTC! Our session will change the way you design and … [Read more...]

Help Empower Women Rights Organizations in the Ukraine

September 1, 2015 by Beth Kanter

A branch of my family tree is from the Ukraine.   At the age of 13, my grandfather left his country and ended up as a refugee in America.    Despite harsh conditions, he made a new life in a new country, but never forgot his homeland. Now, almost 100 years later, I have an opportunity to give back to my ancestral homeland.  I’m giving my support as well as sharing my teaching and technology skills with Women’s Rights organizations in Ukraine.   The project is called “Tech2Empower,” … [Read more...]
